Accepting applicants
Palestine and Arabic Studies Program (PAS) at Birzeit University /Palestine is an accredited academic program that has been offering Arabic language courses (Modern Standard Arabic and Colloquial Palestinian Arabic) of all levels for international students for more than 30 years. Our teachers are experienced university professors (MA and PH.D holders). PAS has also been helping international students learn about Palestine and the Palestinians.
Note: students do not have to register for all courses. They can choose the courses that fit their needs. For Arabic Language courses, (Standard and Colloquial) students will be asked to sit for a placement test to determine their level.
Due to the current political situation in Palestine, the courses for the spring semester 2024 will be taught ONLINE.
Classes start Feb. 20, 2024.
